Monk's music translates well in any format, I reckon...but if this compels you back to the originals so well and good!

Monk Electric Band s’alimenta de l’energia de les composicions de Thelonious Monk i proposa una reinterpretació dels seus temes amb una sonoritat que va des del Rock, al Free, explorant eclècticament tota mena de terrenys sonors. En els arranjaments apareixen riffs clàssics de Led Zeppelin o Black Sabbath, sense abandonar mai el concepte jazzístic.
La formació de dues guitarres elèctriques , contrabaix i bateria, ofereix una revisió vital i vitamínica de la música de Monk preservant-ne la personalitat i l’equilibri entre tradició , potència i extravagància.

Electric Monk Band feeds on the energy of the compositions of Thelonious Monk and proposes a reinterpretation of his songs with a sound that ranges from Rock to Free, exploring eclectically all kinds of sound terrains . In the arrangements are classic riffs of Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath , without ever abandoning the concept of jazz .
The formation of two electric guitars , bass and drums, provides an energètic review of the music of Monk, preserving the balance between tradition and personality , power and extravagance .
